Motocaddy was formed in August 2004 with the goal of bringing the very best in build quality, style, reliability and affordability to the world of electric golf trolleys. We are based in state of the art premises next to Stansted Airport and currently employ 13 full time staff members, including a former PGA Pro, three single figure handicappers, plus other “mad keen” golfers.

Our trolleys (or “carts” as we like to call them these days) are produced in partnership with our manufacturer - a precision engineering firm, who also manufacture aerospace parts for amongst others – Airbus Industries. On our S1 cart, we designed the “S” shaped frame, the dual handles, the battery tray, the wheels etc - basically all the aesthetics and we left the technical stuff to them. With their technical expertise and our guidance, we have developed a cart which is constructed from aerospace grade aluminium, making it as light as any powered cart on the market, but a lot more sturdy. It also boasts a top of the range motor/gearbox combination, making it extremely quiet, very efficient and very reliable.

The powered golf cart sector has become pretty competitive in the last couple of years, but while most of the other players seem to come and go we have steadily grown, having focussed heavily on the most important factor - customer service. On the back of plenty of hard work we are now firmly established as a major player in the powered golf cart sector having sold over 20,000 carts worldwide in the last 18 months.

In March 2006 we launched the S1 which quickly became the fastest selling powered golf cart on the market. It’s sturdiness, quiet running, reliability and tremendous value for money have combined to “speak for themselves”. We firmly believe the S1 is the very best powered golf cart for under £350 – and it’s only £250! You can’t beat it!

We have established a network of service centres throughout the UK who provide warranty back-up and service should you need it. Behind the scenes we work hard to support these service centres and will always provide direct support to our users if required.
